Start With the Problem You Are Trying to Solve
You do not need to know whether the answer is coaching, fractional leadership, or something else before reaching out. Tell me what is happening, what you believe needs to change, and what success would look like. We can work out the right structure from there.
Tell Me What Is Happening
Message sent
Thank you. I will read this and reply to the email address you gave, usually within two business days.
The Right Problem Still Needs the Right Conditions
I can be accountable for a meaningful outcome when the engagement gives me enough access and support to actually influence it. These four things separate the engagements that work from the ones that stall.
Executive sponsorship
A founder, CEO, or senior leader supports the work and can clear roadblocks when they appear.
Access
I can talk to the relevant people and review the systems, workflows, and reporting needed to understand how the business actually runs.
Authority
If I am accountable for an outcome, there is enough decision-making authority, or direct executive access, to drive it.
Willingness to change
Leadership is prepared to change processes, roles, technology, or decision rights when the evidence points there.
Not Sure What You Need?
The fit assessment is the better first step. Three questions, about a minute, and it will tell you whether coaching, a fractional engagement, or neither is the strongest direction before you spend time on a call.
Before You Reach Out
Do I need to know which service I need before contacting you?
No. Describe what is happening in the business and what you are trying to improve. Part of my job is working out whether the situation points toward coaching, a fractional engagement, both, or something I am not the right person for.
What kinds of companies are the strongest fit?
SaaS and software companies past product-market fit, where support, implementation, or customer success has grown faster than its structure. Common triggers are rapid growth, a leadership change, inconsistent execution, or gross margin quietly eroding in the service functions.
Do you work only with SaaS companies?
No. My background is deepest in SaaS, HR technology, and payroll operations, and that is where I add the most value fastest. The work applies elsewhere when the problem matches the experience.
Do you take interim executive assignments?
Selectively. Interim work fills a full-time seat until a permanent hire starts, which is a different structure from how I usually work. I will consider it where the fit is strong. Say so in your message and we can talk about it directly.
What makes an engagement a poor fit?
When leadership wants an extra pair of hands rather than a diagnosis, when I would be accountable for an outcome without the access or authority to influence it, or when what is actually wanted is validation of a decision already made. I would rather say that on the first call than three months in.
How quickly will you respond?
Usually within two business days. If you would rather skip the wait, the Calendly link books a thirty-minute conversation directly.
Or Skip the Form Entirely
If you would rather just talk, book thirty minutes. No preparation needed, and nothing is expected of you afterward.
